Glowing Leaves and Inquisitive Peacocks

 Someone started walking towards me.

I looked at him with his stunningly beautiful colours and he looked at me with his beady eye.

"Who are you?" he said

Then someone else turned up to distract him for a while so I took the opportunity of taking their photo together.

 They didn't seem to mind.

What a sunny weekend it was around these parts! Are you ready to see some glorious leavey colour? Then come with me through this beautiful gate and I'll show you some delights...

Trees, leaves and birds in the sunshine, pretty good combination don't you think? :) I hope you get a chance to see the glowing colours too!

Although we didn't get out this weekend we did have the joy of raking up the bright red leaves that have fallen from our little cherry tree. Each year I am amazed at the gorgeous colour of them, so pretty!!

Your peacock friends are magnificent, I love peacocks, they bring back happy memories for me!!

Dear Jess! I have had SO much pleasure perusing your most recent posts. A wealth of treasures, including one of my all time faves; Arthur Rackham! Owls, witches, autumn trees. You've got it all here haven't you. And look at that glorious purple in your header.

SwOoN!

Stephanie

ps I'm now following you although I cannot quite understand why I wasn't before ;-)

The peacock is such a strange and beautiful beast. But your photos made me laugh because he just seemed so childlike and cute! Lovely. I am surrounded by gorgeous pines and oak trees, which I love, but I do envy your gorgeous autumn photos. And I want to do a painting of that gate... It has a mysterious otherworldly feel to it. Hmm :)

You have an eye for a nice shot and these are really pretty pics. Especially the peacocks, they can be awkward buggers to photograph! x
