Out with the mess, starting afresh.

I've cleared up by art table. I'd forgotten how much this helps me start a new project with renewed enthusiasm! I do make a mess when I paint, it gets all over my hands and it has even been known to travel to my feet more times than I'd like to tell you. When I was at college I'd take a pack of baby wipes with me in my art supplies so that I could clean my art materials off myself before venturing outside. My face would invariable have smudges and streaks of a bright vivid colour, or black. So what project do I have in mind? Christmas cards! I was originally going to make them to sell but I've left it too late this year. I was also going to sell my 'moo' ones that I had printed  but again I've missed the boat with that too. Never mind, I'm going to give them to friends and family. :) They were a lot of fun to make, why did I leave it so long! Now I have a nice clean table, I've got my little sketchbook out. Christmas is Coming

Image
I want to show you my christmas cards I've designed for this year. I'm offering them for sale to you on Etsy . Each card is individually finished by me with shiny silver! They come in a set of 4, each with their own envelope, wrapped with a pretty ribbon and measure approx 15 x 11 cm (approx. 6 x 4 ins.) I'd like the photos to be clearer to show you but my youngest is going to a Jedward concert tonight and took my camera! I hope the pictures I took on my humble phone show you enough of the colours and detailing! Inside each card says.... Merry Christmas! Thankyou for your kind comments. I realise this is a difficult time of year for lots of people, so much to do and when life's problems rear their heads it makes the whole mix a little tricky. I'd also like to say  Welcome to my new followers!  I'm so happy you pressed my 'follow' button, I hope you enjoy your visits. :o)
