Half Term Sunshine
We've been away over half term but my mind's been filled with creative ideas. Devon was beautiful in the sunshine and we were so lucky to have such lovely weather. Plans are afoot!

Illustration Friday: Spooky
I could have done a painting on the traditional Halloween theme but for some reason this image evolved on the page! I find it spooky, do you? ;) Do you remember my recent give-away? Illustration Friday: Transportation
This week's word for Illustration friday is 'Transportation'. I got quite carried away quite literally with this one using sea salt sprinkled into the paint for those scrummy textures. :) I'm going to list this one on Etsy later on! My Colourful Dreaming Paisley Girl
Today I'm listing my painting of Paisley Girl on Etsy ! Do you remember I did this one a few weeks ago for Illustration Friday's word which was ...er Paisley! She's painted with watercolour and a touch of pencil crayon with pen and ink. I loved playing with salt to get the lovely textures in her dress. The original painting will be only $40 (which is approximately £25, or € 28 ). I felt like drawing reindeers so here are a couple of pages from my sketchbook. In the bottom one I tried out a partridge too, with a bit of artistic licence with the 'pear' tree!
