Wow..powerful imagery..the colors are dazzling ! This piece gives me a very explorative feeling..deep inside the dreamland and the journeys we take in mysterious places...just beauitiful! The purples-blues and greens are stunning together!powerful color-harmony here! Love it! HUgs victoria
What a wonderfully ethereal picture. It really evoked the feel of a dream-filled sleep.
I hope you are able to re-charge your batteries and your tiredness is just temporary. There is a nasty little bug going round right now which my daughter is suffering from - hope you're not coming down with it.
What a restful, peaceful picture - she has succumbed to her wariness and let herself rest. This time of the year seems to leave lots of us tired, we have tried to do too much, not listened to our bodies, been caught up in the rush and pace of life - now its time to rest.
Nice! I love the colors. They really draw you in, and she does look peaceful.
I would love to get a nice night's sleep like that, but... I have a cat I have to fight with every night. Lol! I lose a lot of sleep because of that diva.
Hi J., perfect, this is the last blog I'm visiting before heading off to bed after a ridiculously late night at work... tired can visit dreams perhaps, dreams where flowers of midnight blue run wild.
No I can't tell you are tired rather your work looks dreamy, as if you are floating on a dream of beautiful imaginings...its really peaceful, Happy weekend Lynn xxxx

Thankyou so much for your lovely comments :o) I'm still tired but seems par for the course these days! I do find accupuncture works, I always sleep deeply after a session of that but not had any for a few weeks! At least when we're sleepy we tap into the part of the brain that creates! ;O) xx
Beautiful dreamer. Hope you can get some healing sleep, mostly I sleep well but if I don't....... exhausted! I'm having my first 'Giveaway' so hope you'll pop over to my blog and take part. Carol xx
I've been thinking about why I'm drawing cottages lately. Maybe it's because there aren't many people around where we live and on our daily walks we rarely come across anyone else which I suppose is a good thing as we're still in Lockdown and have to practice Social Distancing which has now become a very well used phrase in our language! Maybe it's this lack of seeing people around that my mind is turning towards houses and flowers? The ones above are done in ink. I love the pearlescent inks, they're so beautiful when they catch the light. The paintings above and below are painted in acrylic. I've been obsessed with watercolour for a few weeks but I felt I'd like to get some acrylics out again. I've always been like this, going through phases of being obsessed with a particular medium thinking yes this is it! This is my final medium and then finding myself being drawn to changing once again to a different way of wor
I thought this was quite an appropriate word for some of us this week with all this snow! It was very exciting at first to have everyone home on a school day but today they're back and I must say it's nice to have the space again to get on with my own things! I've given my Etsy shop a new lease of life and will be adding these 2 ACEO's later on this morning. I do like drawing birds!
Brixham Harbour It's been a while since my last post hasn't it? It's been a very busy Easter holiday for me, lots of things to sort out and jobs to do. Today's my first day at home but there's so much catching up to do after being away I don't know where to start! So I decided to start right here and to make this blogpost :) I did manage to have some relaxing time too and one of the places we went to was Avebury Manor. I've been to Avebury stone circles more times than I can count but have never visited the 500 year old Manor House. Each room has been restored to a different time period to represent the different generations of people who lived there over the years. I love the handpainted wallpaper in one of the rooms, so detailed. It was difficult to choose which part to photograph there was so much amazing pattern. It's based on an early English chinoiserie wallpaper from around 1700. The artist Mark Sands working on t
