Watercolour Designs and my New Shop

Thankyou for your kind comments on my last post, it seems that I'm not alone in loving lots of colour! Yarn, paint, pencils, you name it, I can't get enough!
You might remember from a previous post that I hunted for a long time looking for nice colourful cushions (pillows) and it was the online shop Society6 where I eventually found the perfect ones for me! This gave me the idea of starting up my own shop on the site with just a few of my designs to begin with. I'd like to show you some of the items I'm selling.

It's so fun seeing my paintings appear on different items! The ones I've pictured here are only a few of the designs, there are many more items such as ipad cases, tank tops (vests), hoodies, kids' T-shirts and of course high quality giclee prints framed and unframed. Your work looks so amazing on the cushions Jess!So many of your pieces would make wonderful gifts and translate so well into new objects of desire. I had a look at society6 homepage too, what a great idea. How much commission do they take? Thank you so much for sharing, it has given me loads of ideas!

I've been thinking about why I'm drawing cottages lately.  Maybe it's because there aren't many people around where we live and on our daily walks we rarely come across anyone else which I suppose is a good thing as we're still in Lockdown and have to practice Social Distancing which has now become a very well used phrase in our language! Maybe it's this lack of seeing people around that my mind is turning towards houses and flowers? The ones above are done in ink. I love the pearlescent inks, they're so beautiful when they catch the light. The paintings above and below are painted in acrylic.
