Aim for the Highest Goals in Life, not the Mediocre

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

 ~ Henry David Thoreau

Do you remember the painting I was working on in the last post? It's finished! I've used collage, acrylic and ink and sprayed it with varnish to protect the surface. :)
The painting is on canvas board (7 x 5 inches) and is £25.51+ £2 shipping in the UK (or $40+ $4 shipping anywhere else.).

It'll soon be listed in my Etsy shop but if you'd like to buy it before I do, please email me here. :)

I like this painting a lot, Jessie! Longing for warmth(the colours)and cosiness(the house, the snail), long hours in quietness(the snail again!) and the problems that can wait a little (the piece of puzzle)... This is what I feel. Do you find something in common with your intentions?:D

This is so gorgeous, Jess! I love making the image larger so I can see all the details up close. So much to see. I get such a relaxed and calm feeling from this painting...which is wonderful on this chilly day in Vancouver. <3 Cheers, Jess!
Always an inspiration, thanks!
Great title and a wonderful piece to go along with it. This is a wonderful piece. Wishing you well! :)

This has turned out even more beautifully than I thought Jess, the little area with the circles on it looks so textural, have you scraped the paint away? The whole piece has a fairytale feel to it... wonderful!
