New Paintings, Abundance and Gratitude

The weather is changing rapidly now, I've managed to capture the glorious red leaves on my garden wall before they began to fall.


Thankyou so much for helping me with my 'naming the girl' in my last post. It was one of the later suggestions on Facebook that felt so right, it's the name 'Fawn'. She looks quite deerlike I think, don't you? :)

You might remember I bought some canvas boards a while ago and started by collaging them with background layers but the summer became so very busy I had no time to continue with them, that is until now.

Abundance, 7 x 5 ins

This one is called 'Abundance' and her garden is full of red berries and copper tinted leaves. The fruits are ripe and the sun squeezes out its last warm rays.

Gratitude, 7 x 5ins.

This painting is called 'Gratitude'. Her heart thrives on beauty and love and she keeps safe her loving essence that pours gratitude quietly from her eyes.

Oh, what gorgeous fall colors in your nature shots and your beautiful paintings!! They both look so serene. And the colors are amazing!! We are only now getting the first few leaves changing color, but the big fall colors don't arrive here until November! xoxo Silke

Yes, Fall sure does have glorious color to her, doesn't she ? So much beauty to behold.

Yay Jess..what a beautiful post..Love the autumn magic you share..stunning colors, my fave time of year!

And these two paintings are both very powerful..and I love the expressive energy they carry. The titles Gratitude and Abundance are also very empowering..like a beautiful prayer..meditation of art! Outstandng works..very beautiful and full of blessings!

I've been thinking about why I'm drawing cottages lately.  Maybe it's because there aren't many people around where we live and on our daily walks we rarely come across anyone else which I suppose is a good thing as we're still in Lockdown and have to practice Social Distancing which has now become a very well used phrase in our language!
