Colourful Days

'Opposites Attract' acrylic on canvas

I'm so behind with everything I do believe I haven't shown you this finished painting yet! It's on canvas and I've used stencils for the textures. I like the randomness of the flower design, it was great fun to do!

So what next?

This is the one I started before Easter but being so busy doing other things it's been sitting on the easel waiting for me. Today I will definitely be painting today because I spent the best part of yesterday designing my website. It's got some more tweaking to do but I'm happy with how it looks for now. Would you like to see?

My crocheted blanket is growing slowly. It's kept my knees warm on these cold evenings while I work on it. I hope I finish it before summer!

Hi Jess, I like your painting with the birds (but I do like all of your paintings, they are so bright and colourful). The website looks great too, good luck with that. xoxo

Oh, I love that new painting you're working on, such wonderful layers and colours. Your website is looking good already. Love your blanket!
Good morning Jess! I am very much in LOVE with your work! I see you also follow my dear friend Martina from M's Art Impressions. I am now also the proud owner of a lovely acrylic from my friend Irina from Gypsy in Me....she painted a Clair de Lune scene for me in rich lavenders and grays and blues. This is a happy scene you have here today! HAVE FUN! Anita

Being on line can take up so much time - I often find I spend longer here than painting. Congratulations on your new site and thank you for the burst of colour - just what I needed. :)
Absolutely gorgeous and you can't beat a little colour in your days - it brightens every thing else up.

The way the 2nd painting's blue vase of flowers pops against the background is perfect! Excellent colors...love the way you created the background, there's so much going on I could study it for hours! The vibrancy is uplifting, and the textures add such depth...the perfect combination :) Oh, and your website looks superb, the perfect home for your art...have an inspired day!

Thankyou Carrie :) I've finished that one now and will take a photo soon. :)
