Bright and Sunny

After what's felt like many weeks of dull grey weather I felt the need to use bright colours.
I showed you beginning stages of this painting in my last post where the painting looked like a tsunami was approaching (!) but as you can see things have changed quite a bit and here we have a pretty garden of flowers with a golden woodland and cottages.

It did make the sun come out! Yesterday was so sunny, I though it was here to stay.
It looks like I might need to make some more brightly coloured paintings if I'm to bring that sunshine out again today.

Try it,
it could work for you too! :)

Lovely little village !
Funnily enough, I started two pages in my journal this morning in bright orange. I am hoping I can reproduce some sunshine magic here but it looks as though it may take a few days to work. We are apparently getting about 20 cm of snow in the next two days...
Oh well, the color still does me good !

That is a very nice and sunny painting! I love the pink and purple cobblestones. Sun is also shining overhere and it's warm enough to go without a cote.

I love, love, love this! So cheerful, I want to move there! Actually reminds me of a house I lived in and we painted it a pale yellow. It was wonderful to drive up and see it, always made me feel good. Beautiful work Jessie!
