Introspection

Me in Cornwall, back in the day.

Some things change, some stay the same. I've always loved shades of purple and since my first visit there, I've always loved Cornwall.

I always make a mess

and I always get paint all over my hands and the floor just opening a bottle of ink.
I always poke myself in the eye when I put mascara on.

Random thoughts on this icy cold day.

Deux très jolies oeuvres qui illustrent bien les fêtes de Noël...

Une fois je me suis promenée toute la journée avec de la peinture au bout du nez sans le savoir !...

Gros bisous.

Thanks Heidi, it's no less than my trusty white ink. :)

Thanks Tammie, I'm glad I had that effect. :)

Jess, you look beautiful... I could NEVER be messy like this. I am messy generally, but for some reason my art supplies have to be super organized. I have a hard time even getting my paint brush dirty

Aww thankyou Ana, it was taken a few years ago! :)
I don't like having a mess and periodicaly clean everything up so I can organise my thoughts again. I'm in a bit of a dip with my painting at the moment and I wonder if having to work on this paint covered table has anything to do with it? ;) At the beginning of a new painting or project I do like a clean area even though during the painting and after it does look like a war zone! Thankyou for helping me realise why I'm feeling stuck right now. It takes talking like this to another artist to see the wood for the trees. :)
xx
Love the natural light in your studio! (mine is in a basement devoid of natural light :-( )...I loved Cornwall too when I visited as an exchange college student at the Univ. of Wales/Cardiff...Be well!
Might be random, but it's still a very nice post!

I'm actually envious of that sometimes. Whenever I paint I always stay extremely clean haha;) Like I didn't even do anything!

And yes, I poke myself in the eye when putting on mascara too! We just don't get along that well. :D

I always make a mess too...
But then I saw the sweater you made,
I can hardly believe it, I mean it looks so complicated. It is gorgeous, and the colors are so happy, I love it! It is a wintery, rainy day here and you blog is the perfect pick-me-up♥
I always sneeze when I put mascara on - and I always swear when I do so.
