A Shot of Pink


To me, pink is happy and comforting. I love its bright jolly colour that adds a shot of warmth.
As you might be aware if you've visited here before, purple is my favourite of all and I'm currently making a summer cardigan in a lovely shade of lilac.


As much as I love purple, I felt it needed a shot of pink so I'm edging the sleeves with a narrow strip of bright fuschia!

  10. i have always wanted a pink cistus. we once had a beautiful white one, so prolific in flower but sadly we lost her during a bitter winter.
    i love how the pretty blooms have influenced your cardigan :)

I woke this morning and went with coffee in hand to the tiny little room I have been creating for reading (I read everywhere and have books everywhere, but, any how...) and read The Pink.
