It Must Be Spring

It must be spring because my garden is beginning to come to life again.

Time to do some tidying up,

to make space for all the new flowers to grow!

Thankyou for your lovely comments about my fish-loving daughter! It's amazing how her interest was there all along, who'd have known?
Blogger have allowed me to have my bloglist back hooray! You can now see it at last in the right hand sidebar. What with the Facebook changes and Blogger changes I've had a lot to learn lately!
I hope you haven't had difficulties too. :)

Oh that is a beautiful picture, Jess. I sometimes braid my hair when working in the garden (wish it was as thick as the garden lady's!)
I do love this time of year in the garden but there is such a lot to get done. In recent years parts have "got away from us" so we are having to work especially hard now.

Happy spring to you! The leaves are being to full off the trees in my garden as we say goodbye to summer - I love your painting - I've been looking at all the detail. The roundness of the flowers and then all the leaves, ah and the bird, your paintings are always filled with detail yet have an uncluttered feeling, a feeling of space - wonderful

Je suis très heureuse de l'arrivée du printemps.
Il est bon de retrouver vos oeuvres après plus de 6 semaines d'absence... Je rentre tout juste des Philippines...

Dear Jess,

Will that beautiful picture be available in your etsy shop, pretty please?

Researching and writing about the cross between garden aesthetics and performing arts has made me very keen on the personification of gardens and flowers. Your creation fits the bill for me. It makes me think of 'Bloom where you are planted'. Beautiful.
