Busy at Home and Give-Away Time!
It been a while since I knitted something and I've been missing it so I've just bought some beautiful soft Eskimo wool to make this, my very first project on Ravelry. I'll let you know how I get on. It's on big chunky 9mm needles so it shouldn't take very long to finish.
Look at my poor garden. It really has been neglected hasn't it? After several years of tough play from my children (and plenty of other people's too!) it looks forlorn and very sad doesn't it?
Time for a make-over!
A bit of wire wool action, my trusty can of lilac spray paint and a few other bits and bobs, it's now spick and span and ready for the next onslaught!
~*~*~Now for my give-away! ~*~*~
As I've just tipped the 400 mark with my followers I thought it was time to say a big thankyou to you for adding my little blog to your reading list! I love your visits and to read your comments and appreciate the time it takes from your busy day. :)
Thankyou!♥
To the lucky winner, I'm going to give away my original watercolour painting (pictured above) and a brand new set of compressed charcoal. All you need to do is to tell me you'd like to be included in the draw in the comments section of this post and of course to become a follower (if you aren't already!)
This charcoal is the more softer kind, not the scratchy sticks that crumble and break easily. The black is smooth, rich and velvety.
The painting measures 7 x 10 inches (that's approx. 18 x 25cm) and is painted with lovely bright Schminke watercolours, my favourite kind.
I'll have the draw in a week or so and I'll tell the winner before announcing it here.
Good luck! :)

Sometimes the garden is a bit neglected and just needs some TLC .... that's what you gave !
It's no surprise that you choose those lovely "Drops" colours. Ha !
I see you have taken your colour scheme into the garden with those soft purples and greens. I hope it survives this year's footfall.
Thanks Bella, I'm sure it will. My lot are grown and the next generation are small (at the moment!)
You garden is full of life now, ready to welcome kids' steps and laugh!
The giveaway is so tempting, Jess, everyone would be happy to have your beautiful painting and the charcoals! Me, too!:)

What a sweet giveaway !
I am glad you are enjoying Spring so very well, Jessie.
Light and love to you !
Love the wool you are knitting with....xxx
I would love to be included in your amazing giveaway and, oh dear, I would very much like to apologize for NOT responding to your mail about that beautiful garden girl (my name for it) painting I have my eye on. I must confess I would very much like to buy it... perhaps I should ask about the price first? ;-)
I really am sorry to have been so lacking in manners. I took a step back from my computer for a while as I could almost hear my nerves jangling as I strove to do too much. Inevitably the wonderful world of mails and bloggin was first to be sacrificed. Will you forgive me?
