What a lovely take on the theme of 'suspense'!!
It feels like there could be a whole storybook about those birds & their shadows! xx

Wonderful mindful stuff - little lost birds, so ethereal, and shadows to guide them. And then the word suspense, holding one in suspense or perhaps being in suspense - mmm love a thoughtful challenge.

I really like this. It is the sort of thing I can imagine seeing as a greetings card.

They would, they would! In this marvellous spring forest, full of so different scents, they (not their shadows!)will inevitably begin to sing and that will be a chance to find each other!
I like so much this painting and especially the texture of the "white" bird!:)
This is quite lovely and SO loving your birds. :)

A wonderful piece, Jess! I love the atmosphere in this one... Just the kind of place I'd like to get lost in!
