Illustration Friday: Sink

My youngest son with his little niece Lexie, before the pantomime.

It's that time of year, pantomines, decorations, christmas trees.
This week's Illustration Friday is the word 'sink'.

The christmas fairy on top of the tree started to sink....

oh dear!

Oh no, that can't happen, tell the fairy she just needs to flutter her wings and all will be well.

Oh no... that explains why she is sinking.. no wings. Poor fairy - she must be a learner fairy and hasn't ranked up high enough to earn them yet. x
Very nice. Like the colors and especially how you did the progression of sinkage :)

jess, i come here to say something about your words over at my place, and then i totally forget that once i'm here! i'm distracted by your art or photos!!

i don't think this fairy really *needs* wings. she looks quite capable of levitating without them! yes, i think she's impressed the little bird... ; )

Ah, this is fun and a sweet fairy image!
I don't have a sinking fairy on my tree, but I do have a sinking star, well a bent one. It just won't sit straight! ;-D

Anyway, I just stopped by to wish you and your lovely family a Merry Christmas and very Happy New Year!

Oh that explains it! Just thought they were hiding behind her shoulders. A fairy needs her wings, especially at Christmas, just put mine on the tree.

Don't worry Carol, she has wings now! I'll post her when she's dry! :)

Oh this is wonderful! Has she eaten too many marzipan fruit? Or almond cakes? She looks pretty slim though!

I love all this colour!!!

Thankyou Stephanie :) She has and so have I and it's not even christmas yet! I've given her some wings now so her weight won't be a problem any more. ;o)
