Experiments With a Pillowcase
I have a redundant pillowcase that my youngest says isn't quite her style any more. It's too girly.
I was going to take it to the charity shop but then I thought it might still be useful to me but in another way...
It has little mauve flowers as a design and I thought I could cut them out
and use them in a painting..
It's not much good as a pillowcase any more
but now I know the possibilities of fabric!

Your 1978 photo reminds me of the David Hamilton posters which were very hip in back then.
Thanks for your sweet wishes, xx

Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!
Thanks Rachel, you'd be very welcome.
Thanks Bee, you're going to have a lot to buy aren't you, to fill a pillowcase?!
The more inspiration you find on craft blogs the more you are loathe to part with anything that could be given a new life.

i too feel like a 'pale, quiet girl' these days... (and yes, the black line is *very much* like an etch-a-sketch!!)

Take care,

Thanks Els, it's something new for me, I'm sure I'll do some more again soon.
