Home Goings-on and a FREE treat for you

There has been quite a long gap since my last post (for me anyway!) but you may have noticed I've had a bit of a tidy up around my blog. I hope you didn't think you'd come to the wrong place! ;)
The reason for my absence is that I've been busy with family things. My eldest and her baby girl came to stay for a few days (see pic above). It's been lovely catching up and in the evenings I've had the chance to finish my new cushion cover.


It's the same colour scheme as the last one to match the newly decorated room.

But there's no stopping me!


Yes! Yet another is forming from my crochet hook. This time, no particular plan, just random colours from my left overs stash. I couldn't let it go to waste now could I?

 While I've been away, I found these beautiful pebbles on a beach. I think they're limestone.
I have plans for these!




Now for the free part.
I've decided to give away a free A4 poster of my painting that used to be my blog header with every purchase from my Etsy shop.
Yes, I said FREE. :) and to remind you how it looks, here it is....

You fooled me! I did think I was at the wrong place.
Two beautiful girls, what a lovely photo.
I've got a bit 'stuck' with my crochet. I know you 'can't have too many cushions' but I actually think I have. Considering taking some apart and rejoining them as a (very) random blanket.

Wonderful crochet work - I have similar things going right now - color, color, color!! :)

Love your new design but I was wondering who Purple Treebird was, lol! Your daughter and granddaughter - so beautiful and sweet! And your crochet work is awesome! I don't crochet but I do knit. The color is the thing. Right now I'm working on gorgeous wildly colored socks (a real challenge, lol).

What a super sweet foto of your grandbaby and daughter....and omg...another freebie....would I LOVE to add it to my collection but that would be asking a BIT much considering I was already very lucky and have an ORIGINAL adorning my wall....but oooooo it would keep my bird in good company wouldn´t it,,,oh heck:) but I have to say ,,,don´t enter me in the draw,,,oh darn how can I do this but I have to let someone else enjoy your work in person but I may not be so "nice " come the next giveaway:) May the luckiest comment win! I've been thinking about why I'm drawing cottages lately.  Maybe it's because there aren't many people around where we live and on our daily walks we rarely come across anyone else which I suppose is a good thing as we're still in Lockdown and have to practice Social Distancing which has now become a very well used phrase in our language! Maybe it's this lack of seeing people around that my mind is turning towards houses and flowers? The ones above are done in ink.
