Yes, they were here in April! Amazingly early. It was mentioned on the special Springwatch programme and the very next day I saw one here.

So beautiful! I haven't noticed any swifts (but then I'm not hot on recognising my birds). But I adore both your paintings - so pretty & imaginative.

Thanks Kat, they're quite distinctive, fly quite high and have fork shaped tails and look a bit like a boomerrang! :)
