The New Moon

Tonight is the start of the new moon.
A new moon is a time of inception, a time of new beginnings.
Tonight a grand trine will form in Aquarius of the sun, the moon and mars. This will inspire opportunities and forward movement in our lives. It denotes a time of cutting through to the chase and releasing extraneous hazards that allow shortcuts to the desired outcome of reaching the light at the end of the tunnel.

The top image is from my sketchbook and I like it so much I've decided to paint a new one and I'm now offering it for sale. :)
The price will be £25 ($40). It measures approx. 9" x 12"

Oh my goodness, this is amazing! I love the girl - her delicate pose, sweet expression, and charming outfit! The muted colors in the background and the pale and elegant tree designs are stunning. This has to be one of my favorite pieces from you!

I've been thinking about why I'm drawing cottages lately.  Maybe it's because there aren't many people around where we live and on our daily walks we rarely come across anyone else which I suppose is a good thing as we're still in Lockdown and have to practice Social Distancing which has now become a very well used phrase in our language! Maybe it's this lack of seeing people around that my mind is turning towards houses and flowers? The ones above are done in ink. I love the pearlescent inks, they're so beautiful when they catch the light. The paintings above and below are painted in acrylic.
