Dramatic Start

My day started very dramatically this morning with the sky putting on a spectacular show for me.
Today is the first day I have alone, a chance to pick up my paint brushes and get back to the canvas. It's not an easy thing after a long break is it? I can find plenty of 'urgent' other jobs that need doing but they must wait. ;)

As I write this I have actually made a start, although you could swap the word 'start' with 'mess' but I'm pushing on through despite the chaos!
The painting above is one I did earlier. You might say, "Oh this doesn't look chaotic!"
No, that's because it's small and still inside my sketchbook!
The paintings I'm have trouble starting are larger ones on canvas. An entirely different way of working, with bigger brushes, thicker gooier paint and a larger surface to cover.
Well, off I go to do some more to my 'mess'. When I've spent some more time on it I'll give you a peek!
