Colourful Birds

I wasn't going to take a photo today because there isn't much light here but this hasn't turned out too badly has it? You get the general idea of it anyway!
It's many layers of colours, interspersed with feelings, emotions and the content of my mind. Needless to say, there's a lot going on!
It's not finished yet, I want to change the top bird's wing to something a bit more vibrant. I shall post here when I'm done.

Wow, Jessie, I have six siblings also. I can't say six children, like your daughter, most are adults now.
I've got to take a look at your sunflower painting. It's amazing how we syncronise this way. We must be tapping into the same love energy.

I've been thinking about why I'm drawing cottages lately.  Maybe it's because there aren't many people around where we live and on our daily walks we rarely come across anyone else which I suppose is a good thing as we're still in Lockdown and have to practice Social Distancing which has now become a very well used phrase in our language! Maybe it's this lack of seeing people around that my mind is turning towards houses and flowers? The ones above are done in ink. I love the pearlescent inks, they're so beautiful when they catch the light. The paintings above and below are painted in acrylic.
