A Morning of Drawing

Friday morning at my life drawing session and the model got the start time wrong and turned up half an hour late so one of the group posed while we waited for her. I really enjoyed drawing his face.
Then she arrived, was kitted out in drapery and staff and off we went. She's a great model, keeps beautifully still and has amazingly long hair which I lOved to draw!
Well worth the wait. :)

Wow Jessie, I've just been looking through your past entries, what a creative week you've had. Firstly I really loved your acrylic painting on canvas, so bright and bold, your other paintings are just so gorgeous, you have such a vibrant way with colours, so beautiful. And all the sketches are gorgeous, I really loved the faces you did first. So small and delicate but the proportions are great and you managed to capture such a graceful pose with the model, beautiful work Jessie!

Thankyou Marilyn :)
Thanks Nicola, it's lovely of you to say so. I hadn't thought I'd had a creative week but now you've pointed it out I have! It's funny that when you're so busy doing things, you're unaware of how much you're actually producing! I feel like I can relax and enjoy the weekend now, thank you. :)

I love your drawings, I wish I could draw as good as that. I can draw a bit, but not great at portraits. Hugs Sara
