Illustration Friday: Breakfast

The word this week is breakfast, I didn't really want to draw what I eat for breakfast myself, which is a bowl of Country Crisp with raspberries, so this is what I ended up drawing instead. Oops! I've just realised I forgot to draw the saucer that should be with the teacup!
I think the lady with the plait is discussing the owl that's in the other lady's bowl of fruit. What do you think?

I have just discovered your blog and have enjoyed having a ramble through it. Just love your art.
It looks to me as though it's quite normal to these two ladies to have an owl in the fruit bowl - I think they are enjoying a wonderful friend to friend chat and that all is possible in their world.

They are both thoroughly charming... and fresh fruit and tea for breakfast sounds fine. But how did the owl get in the fruit bowl in the first place ???

An owl mystery...

Thankyou so much! I've been away quite bit lately so not had as much time as I'd have liked to spend visiting you all. The summer holidays get taken up with family things and I miss coming here and blogging! Thankyou, it's lovely to hear from you.xx
