Happy Knitting

I love to knit and crochet and usually have something 'on the go' don't you? This girl is having fun and totally oblivious to the holes she's making. This is an original watercolour of mine and I'm selling it on Ebay finishing this sunday. CLICK HERE to see more details :o)
We're having lots of work done to the outside of our house at the moment. This is the view of the back and you can see my studio/bedroom at the top there. That part's been painted and as I write this they're busy repairing the front wall and putting new windows in place of the two you see on the next floor down. It's major disruption but it'll be bliss when it's done!

Ayyy, it's YOU knitting isn't it?? I recognize the hair and of course, you would look lovely in purple! Well, the holes will make great accents for the scarf. Hehee...

I'm glad that you're having works done, it's the right time of year for all that and it's so invigorating when it's complete. I can knit but dislike it, and I never learned how to crochet, but I can do other things and have loads on the go. Your paintings are always uplifting.

Hi Amalia, yes I suppose it is, after all, she is wearing purple!
Thanks Lizzie, I'm looking forward so much to when they've gone and I get my house back to myself. As for knitting, my thinking is if you don't enjoy it, don't do it. Life's too short. :o)

Jessie, its so hard isn't it when you cant settle to paint! It will so be worth it though. i am having troubles getting back into it now after such a long break. i hate sanding too, i didnt have any feeling in my finger tips for two weeks after i finished!! i think i wore off my fingerprints lol but it is so worth the effort. You shall have to let us see what you have been painting x x

Hi Jessie! She/you looks so contented sitting there and I love her boots!!! I know how you feel about renovations, I'm itching to really concentrate on my art but with our trip to the UK and renovations coming up I'm going to have to have a bit of a break, but it will all be worth it when we come back as I'm getting a new and very improved art space! yay!
