Delicious Pink

I think I must love pink.
My eldest son made a remark yesterday about how much pink there was in the room. It took me by surprise, "what pink?"
Did he mean the fluffy fairy lights I have hanging in the window?Or did he mean the other fairy lights I have in a vase?
Maybe he meant the pink chair? Oh look! there a pink glass bottle there too.I think he must have been referring to the little room where we keep the washing machine and tumble dryer - silly me!
I must admit after all this evidence I do have a partiality for bright pink, after all I did buy some more pink wool for my crocheted blanket. It really is as bright as it looks here!
Have I been painting recently?
Yes I have. This is a bath panel and I'm using acrylic paints. I'm finding it difficult because I haven't used them properly on a big painting for about 2 years. I've got so used to small watercolours that it's like learning all over again!

I love all the pink you have in your room! I'm a pink fan - not the soft, muted pinks, but the strong ones like in your pictures! And that's going to be a fun painting!! :) Silke

I don't know what you're on about, what pink? Lol!
I must admit, I love pink also.
The colour is so calm and cheering.
The tiles you have on the wall, I LOVE'EM! Wooo, goes well with pink!
Glad you liked the video, thank you!

Hugs!

Have to say I'm not the biggest fan of pink, but each to his own! That's a pretty huge painting your're working on there Jess - you'll soon get back into the swing of it. :)

Hahaha...this cracks me up! Pink is always a dilemma, isn't it? It's pretty, but you don't want people to think you're too girlie. It's sweet, but too much sweetness makes the boys cringe! So good for you, Jess, if you love it, I say show it off!! (^__^) oxx

Thanks Gretel, it's taking me a while, I'm so rusty it's like starting for the first time! It's interesting how different peole have different preferences isn't it? I wonder how our preferences develop?

Thanks Karen, yes it is! I've been wanting to paint on it for years and thought "right then NOW is the time!"

Sounds like a very good idea Owen!

Thanks Amalia, I have a frend who refuses to wear any pink whatsoever out of principle. What a shame I say! :o)

Hehe...I love all your pink things :) Especially all the fairy lights...a house needs plenty of fairy lights!

Great idea to paint the bath panel too! :)

Btw...I'd be more than happy to pull a tarot card for you hon :)
Do you want me to send you the reading privately? Ans do you have a question, or is it just a 'what do I need to know at this time?' question? :)
