What Inspires You?
I went to life drawing this morning and they had my favourite model there, yay! She's got such a lovely face for drawing so the morning passed by very quickly.
I don't know whether it's showing here on my blog but I feel quite differently about my painting recently, feeling the need to play more and not worry about the outcome so much. I was worrying so much it was preventing me from actually doing anything which defeats the whole object really doesn't it?

This is a page from my sketchbook with words copied from something that I read. I find doing this helps me to move forward.

And oooh Jessie, indeed your drawings are changing, evoluating...let everything flow and you can enjoy the most of it!
Love it!
Kisses from the other side of the channel :) Very stormy here...also over there?
Your drawings are sooo beautiful, I love the shading :-)
What inspires me? I love the aroma of fresh coffee when you open a new packet..I love the romance in a beautiful rose garden and beautiful flowers in a painting: that which you can touch and can not and so yearn for. I love also the harshness of stone, the feel and texture of wood, of the colour of metal. I love the bubbles in a glass of champagne...but most of all I love...and am inspired by the happiness and joy of others. Thank you for spreading yours to me...
nice to find ur blog
are u drawing using the real model sitting in front of you???
XOXO
Thankyou Annette :)
Hi April, that's so sweet of you and I love to hear of your inspirations!
Hi Christina, it's good to try things out anyway even if we know they might not be the perfect thing. :)
Hi Ladyulia, you're very welcome! Yes the model is there posing for the group to copy and this one is particularly good at keeping still!
Oh that's lovely to hear Greenwhisper! Yes, why don't you stick the little pieces of paper into a book, then you can add other drawings directly into it too, I love to look through sketchbooks and find old drawings I'd forgotten about.
What a beautiful inspiration that beautiful drawing.
Jessie I am sure you will thus reach even more ahead.
I get stuck too frequently. I force myself to move on and after a few sketches forget I was stuck. I think we all worry about the outcome.
