Flamenco Guitar

I had my first guitar lesson of the year last night. I'm learning flamenco, slowly and steadily, I don't practise as much as I should but it's just for fun so I don't beat myself up about it too much! This morning was the first life drawing session this year too. I enjoyed it very much and took this photo of my sketchbook. I'm still without a scanner so I hope you can see it clearly enough.

I just got back from the guitar group I am in! It's reat to start up again isn't it? And, wow, your life drawing just keeps getting better and better.
Wow Jessie, that's brilliant. I'd love to learn to play the guitar, but I'm afraid it's on my 'one day' list. I love singing, and whenever I sing I can always hear the guitar accompaniment in my head...it would be so lovely one day to actually be able to PLAY it! Your life drawing is great, I wish I could do more of it too, then maybe I wouldn't be so afraid of drawing hands...or feet!

Thanks Rosie, yes it's great to be back guitaring again isn't it?

Hi Christina, oh you must learn then! Especially as you can hear the music already :)I actually enjoy drawing the hands and feet the most, it's scary but I like the challenge!

Your drawings are beautiful as ever, the Flamenco player is particularly sweet and charming and the life sketches are looking good too :o)
