Happy Colourful Abstracts

I clicked on my blog this morning and saw the picture of the life model (below). His expression was a bit too miserable for my liking, so to cheer this blog up this morning I'm going to show you my friend's new web-site. Her name is Sue Lawton and she's a very talented abstract painter. We did our foundation course together a few years ago. She went on to be a teacher and I carried on with my own abstract painting but these days Sue has returned to painting (hooray!) and I'm now doing illustration! Click on her name to see more of her lovely work :)

Jessie, how cool to see your friend's work, too! I really like your life drawings as I have a true appreciation for them. I would say that that was my toughest class in school...so kudos for you for working on them. And your recent posts (Christmas piece and Geisha) are some of my favorites! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend and thank you for your kind visits!

Hi Jessie,
A wonderful abstract painting. Really vibrant colours and great textures. I love your abstract pictures too.
It is not always easy to keep paintings and store canvases. I do understand why you sold all your abstract works.
Thank you for your visit at my place.
Really good to see you again.
x:)

Hi Joanne, I enjoyed seeing your older paintings, it's amazing how much our work had changed isn't it?
Thanks GreenWhisper! :)
