Geisha Girl

I've just finished reading the book Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. If you haven't read it already, I'd recommend it. his descriptions of the kimono are wonderful, it made me want to paint one!

Here's a picture I did inspired by the book :)

Hi Jessie,
Good to see you today!
Glastonbury is a great place and also the Wells reclamation center. If you get a chance to visit...
I love this book too. I had to read it twice and see the film twice because I thought it was so wonderful.
Very nice illustration and I forgot to mention...
Congrats on your new book. I like the cover. I think kids will love it!;)
Have a good weekend.
Jo.

I love your rendition on this subject. Enjoyed the book a couple of years ago, and agree that it is a good read.

Isn't that fun to be inspired by words and then create something visually? So cool. Wonderful illustration!
Beatiful lady , greetings paty

HI Jessica, your book is beautiful.

My very annoying post lady delivered it, folded it in half and left it stuck in my letter box. The book was folded. So annoyed. Managed to straighten it best I could. The post lady here often leaves things stuck outside in my letter box also.
Getting quite annoyed with her.
Well chill, I will just breath in and out! Thew, good job I can chill, lol!

Hope your having a great weekend!
Julie
So pleased your daughter likes the video too. The song is cute!

Thank you for the lovely comments. She looks quite reserved which was unintentional but interesting from my point of view! ;)
