Friday

It's friday today and that means life drawing at the Folkhouse. I missed the last couple of weeks so I was really glad to be there.

Here are the efforts: This one was tricky, particularly the head! The next one was a longer pose with a much better view of her face, so when it was towards the end, I spent a few minutes concentrating on just her head.
As it was a rainy day the room was fairly dark, so I couldn't fiddle too much with the details. I used to have a lot of opportunity for drawing heads when my children were younger and they used to sit and watch the TV but these days it's a rare treat!

Nice sketches! my country is very conservative. I think it is impossible to find model who willing to pose for us to do a life drawing like that. :(

Thank you Yisin! What a shame you can't do life drawing in your country. You're right, we're very lucky here. :)

Hi Jessie, wonderful nude drawings! I love the first "tricky" one, you did a great job here, it transmits the bodyfeeling of lying like that, relaxed. Have a wonderful Sunday evening, here in Paris it wasn't cold today, windy and even the sun came out:) thanks for your comment on my drawings, which is very motivating.
love
Andrea
