Illustration Friday: Skinny

After I drew this I realised I must have been influenced by all the Halloween ghoulishness (is that a word?) going on around me today. Why the teapot and cup of tea? Um...not sure yet. I don't know about you but I look back at a drawing a few days later and it suddenly occurs to me what was in my subconcious!
Very revealing, this business of drawing! ;)

That is so true, Jessie! This is a cool illustration. I am thinking about all of the possibilities for interpretation. Hope you are enjoying your chocolate today! :)

Jessie...you should definitely think about that book of your own!!! You're on a roll. I love the clean crisp lines. And of course the medium you work in. Love it. Just how I feel every morning when I need my cup of tea to start me up!

I thnk that's a really cool drawing, so whatever's going on in your subconscious it's mighty intriguing! Really, it's one of my favourites now. Are you by any chance publishing a calendar featuring your work?

:):) Hi Jessie, I'm going to bed now with a big smile, taking this image here into my dreams, and oh yes, this looking back at a drawing a few days later and the "click" it makes when you actually see what you were drawing....know that one well!
Have a wonderful week and check what's in your teapot...

Thankyou all! I had the idea for this but it didn't occur to me that the teapot would have to be transparent until I was at the painting stage. It was then that I remembered that thing we have...Artistic Licence!x
