Ta Da!

I'd intended to paint a bit more of the chair today but hey, it's ok as it is. To think somebody had put it out with the bins!

I'm having a last stab at selling this watercolour painting on Ebay. It's painted with good quality paint and heavy 140lb (300gsm) watercolour paper. The finish day is sunday 14th June.

Any offers? ...*sweet smile*

Hi Jessie,
I love your groovy chair.
What great colours for summer. I want one!!:)
I could see your painted chairs in Habitat, as limited designs!

Jessie its perfect! All you need now is a green and leafy corner, with a spotty cup full of hot tea, coupled with 30 minutes of uninterrupted peace..... Mmmmmmmm!

Hi Ruthie, yes I get great satisfaction in getting something for nothing - it doesn't happen very often!
Thanks Joanne, oh if only!
Hi Ren, thanks...I do! I do! Pity the sun's disappeared today. :(

I bet if the people who threw the chair away saw it now they'd kick themselves for not having this idea themselves!
I love it!
Have a great weekend and enjoy your chair! ;)

That chair looks fab, I may have to do something similar once my greenhouse is up (and wine cooler installed, more importantly) up at the allotment.

Thanks Julie-Ann, I've just finished Illustration Friday and off to yoga in a minute! Yes it is a shame the gallery's so far away, I'd have loved to have seen them in the exhibition!

Very cool chair! It's a fabulous feeling saving something from the tip and making it gorgeous again isn't it?! I've been doing this too (only with old wooden furniture - so far a table and a beautiful old cupboard which now holds all my plates!). Oh, and love your illustrations. x
Jess said…
Oh thankyou Veronica, I'd love to see them!

Hey Jessie, thanks for the lovely coment (and for becoming a follower - the pressure!!!). You can see the table at http://www.thepaintedforest.webeden.co.uk/ - feels like a shameless plug but as it's already sold I don't feel so bad :-) I think the cupboard is around somewhere on my Scribbles in Ink blog.
Keep in touch!
