In the Zone

I spent the morning doing some life drawing. I took a while to get into it, but enjoyed very much the sitting and looking. It's something I need to do more of because it's great being 'in the zone' isn't it?

Nice drawing. We had a life model at college who was a music student and he used to go through an entire symphony note by note in his head as he was posing. He got really angry if someone coughed and he had to start all over again.

I am loving your coloured pencil work on the top lif drawing Jessie - very impressive! Illustration Friday is quite a difficult one this week, isn't it? I expect I will go with the obvious balloons drifting away.... it's hard to think of something more original - well, it is for me! Haha!

Cant remember when my bustline was up there! How rude of me, lowering the whole tone of the post when everyone has been so civilized..... Wonderful drawings!!!
