What To Do First?

I get fired up after a weekend away, ready to start work again, raring to go. Mentally that is, until I sit down to begin and realise how much there is to do and go into a panic wondering what to do first! Here's a doodle I did yesterday.

I love your sketch, she is such a pretty dreamer and the softness and colours!

I totally sympathise...I'm just the same!:)

I am currently painting the bits & bobs I gathered at the beach yesterday, in my sketchbook. To try & kick start some 'oomph'! lol

Hiya Jessie - me too! I have so many things I should be doing, but I can't get a grip on anything, and I just want to surf the day away on here looking at crazy things on ebay and day-dreaming....oh dear!

Jess, your 'sketch' is wonderful and lots of fun.

Now, is that what that is...just a panic over what to do first? Mmmm, it happened all day yesterday to me and I called it hormonal! Little did I know... :)

Thanks Sweet Jess!

When there is too much to do, the best is to do just what gives you pleasure, as one of your beautiful drawings!

Thanks Julie-Ann, I felt I wanted those soft shades that day.

Hi Julia, glad to hear it's not just me, that's a good idea of yours collecting things to draw from.

Hi Liz, you work so hard you deserve to have a day like that!

Thanks Kim, I do hope it's not that for me!

Thanks for that Anne, it's a lovely thing to say :)
