A Thoughtful Looking Picture

A face drawn without planning or thinking. The end result is then a surprise to me and then I wonder why she looks so engrossed in her thoughts! I left it at an early stage of just one layer of watercolour because I liked the shape of the brown hair against the purpley blue background. Can you see the ghost of my 'header painting' floating above her head? It's on the same piece of paper, that's why! (I took the advice of you kind bloggers who suggested I use good quality paper for sketches.)
Here are 3 watercolours I've listed on Ebay that will finish on sunday. The price for each is only 99p so if you like a bargain then CLICK HERE to find out about them in more detail, or click on the painting titles to take you to each of their individual ebay pages.

Precious Bike
This is an illustration I did for a biker's magazine.
This one was the first design I did for my daughter's wedding, so if you know of someone about to have a big day it would make an original gift!

What a brilliant idea Jessie! I hope you get loads of bids! Clever you to think of good ol ebay! Love the watercolour of thoughtful girl - it's beautiful, and what watercolour is all about, that sort of washy-coloury thing wot i can't do! Lovely!

Hi Jess, I love the painting you did as the shadow of your header gives a hint of the thoughts you see in her face. I love that!

I think making it a practice to use quality products makes a huge difference in the studio...because you never know when something is going to work out well.

Great idea to use ebay to move along some of your work!

Thanks Kim, yes you're right and I'm only just discovering that! (I'm a bit slow on catching on sometimes!) "I need to continue to use good paper." It should become my mantra!
