Selected Colours

I've been very strict with myself and selected just 3 colours to make little sketches with. Each picture used a different 3 though. I'm not that strict!

And here are some life drawings from this morning...

I took some coloured pencils with me for a change. They were the cheap sort and I couldn't rub them out so any mistakes had to stay!

I didn't have a pencil sharpener either, so this in last one I had to change colours each time one wore out.
It's true!
Here's to a happy weekend.x

Working with the 3 colours is a great idea Jessie! I love how they've turned out - sort of 'pure', if you know what I mean! I'm in awe of your life drawing, as always - just can't get my head around it, no way. It's so hard!
This week there is a great word for IF, so I look forward to seeing what you do! happy Weekend backatcha! xx

Thank you Bookbabie :) I'm looking forward to this week's IF.

Thanks Liz, I'm sure you be able to do it, it's just a question of getting used to it really because I find it so different drawing from life, than out of my head!

Oh thank you Raluca, I like that you called her a princess, I don't know why or how she got there!

For someone who confesses to being a colour-aholic, you are have a real feel for limited colour, the middle one works particularly well for me.

I use to enjoy life drawing but I'm very much out of practice now.
Love your new Etsy shop too. Has the lady fox picture sold?

Hi Jess, you are really into challenging yourself these days! That is so cool! I like this idea of limited colors.

I have to say the idea of using a variety of colors in the life drawing class worked out beautifully...I love this last one a lot!
