Nature, The Ultimate Inspiration

After my dose of nature at the weekend, I've been inspired to paint some little flowers designs.

I love colour and pattern so this was fun to do. The top sketch is an idea for a new header. I'm not sure if it should be a child or a woman and I think this is evident in my drawing! :D

This is a painting of mine on canvas called 'Headland' and it's going to be included in a summer exhibition of my paintings in the Cristus Gallery in Folkestone, along with other artists. You can also see at the gallery the work of a lovely artist and fellow blogger Julie-Ann who paints beautiful angels!

Hi Jessie! How lovely to make your acquaintance... I had a quick look on Etsy because I especially like your Goya type colourful paintings but they'd gone :-( I love the idea of Drop in and Draw, I shall look out for that when I settle. Your message was a treat, thank you. x

Wow, I didn't realize how long I'd been out of commission, visiting all my favorite blogs. Then I saw all these brand new (to me) wonders that you created over the past weeks. Lovely, lovely lovely, all! I especially love how you experiment with different medias and ideas. Very inspirational!
