Into The Greenness

Sometimes the only thing that can heal a rubbish day is to get out into the greenness!
An added bonus was finding these lovely deer. I crept up slowly so they didn't get frightened, although once they spotted me they did stop chewing and began to give me the eye!Aren't they beautiful?

Colour and nature, a day of healing.

Yes, I'd go barking mad if I didn't get out for my walks - I'm amazed and slightly jealous at how near you got to those deer, what great shots!

Thanks Gretel, I was amazed too and expected them to bolt at any moment. I wouldn't have been very popular because there were people at the bottom of the hill taking pictures of them too and I expect they were annoyed that I was so close!

If I have a totem animal it's the deer.
They are such lovely, gentle, beautiful creatures.
Your photographs are amazing! how lovely to get that close to them.
And the green great and trees looked so lush, it's such a beutiful time of year right now.
I love the reddish tree and bluebells too, such a stunning contrast!
It's all quite dreamy and magical.
I know what you mean by healing, the moment I saw these photographs I felt so much peace and quiet joy.
