Friday Morning Life Drawing

I enjoyed last week's 'Drop in and Draw' so much last week, I decided to go again this week. Not as many of us there this time and we drew accompanied by the recorder lesson in the music room next door! They were obviously new to the instrument, I shall leave it at that.
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend, they say sun is on its way!

Beautiful sketches Jessie...I can hear the squeel of those recorders from times past.

These are just lovely! Wish they had something like your Drop in and Draw in my area - I love life drawing, and took it repeatedly in college just to get the practice. There's nothing like it for sharpening drawing skills.

Jess these are fantastic! I remember doing life drawing at art college, I did enjoy them..except we had a kind of creepy male model who seemed to enjoy the attention a bit too much. LOL

seeing these make me feel like sketching someone now:)

Thanks April, I think they were playing jingle bells!

Thanks Carolee, we're very lucky here, I'd forgotten what I was missing!

Thanks Julia, yes I've had models like that in the past. I don't think they realise that their antics are being laughed at by the students!

Wonderful sketches!!! I wish they had something like that near me. It's been a long time since I did any life drawing but you've inspired me!!!

I think I must have gone to the same art collage as Julia Guthrie. I have not been to life drawing classes since 1975, ha, ha. Your drawings are nice and fluid.
