Scaredy Bushbaby

This was an experiment to use coloured pencils over watercolour wash. I had to wait for the paint to dry before I could shade in with the pencil and nearly ruined the paper in my impatience. Why he ended up looking scared witless is anyone's guess!
A doodle I did in red biro while on the phone, that I thought I'd post for my Doodle-a-day. The conversation was about hanging pictures (but not roses!) They must have still been on my mind from drawing that wedding dress!

Ha, ha. That one made me laugh aloud. Don't you sometimes wonder exactly who are these creatures?

Hi Rosie, I've got a good idea they're usually me!

I love the techniqiye you've used with the pencils over water colour wash, Jessie, lovely and gentle. It's funny about our little creatures, isn't it? I think Tiddles the Tiger is definately me, trying lots of new things and nothing ever quite working properly! I do have a good old chuckle about it when I'm obsessing about lack of work, rejection letters, blah blah blah!
I LOVE your Owl and the Pussycat illustration too! We should put them all together on a web page or something, that would look cool, all the different styles!
