Cornwall Holiday Snaps
I'm back from my hols and the shop is now open again. My prints are currently on sale at The Grant Bradley Gallery in Bristol but they'll return to the shop after the exhibition ends at the beginning of September. :) As you can see I've been in lovely Cornwall for a week and I was very sad when it was time to leave! The picture above is a place on Bodmin Moor called Dozmary Pool . We stopped there for a picnic lunch but couldn't persuade the teenagers to get out of the car to enjoy the view. Even tales of ghosts and legends didn't change their minds! It's said that Excalibur was thrown into the water after King Arthur was killed and the pool is now haunted by the Lady of the Lake who guards the sword. There's also a tale of the pool being bottomless with a tunnel that connects it all the way to the sea. I wonder if anyone has tried to find it? This gorgeous meadow caught my eye. I love to see wild flowers growing together don't you? ...
