Sharing and Thankyous!

Thankyou so much for your lovely messages for the arrival of my little grandson. It's lovely to share my excitement here with you. :)

Now talking of sharing and thankyous,
I was very surprised and very happy to see that I now have 800 followers on my Facebook page

Wow!

I think a giveaway is in order don't you?

(flowers drawn with gel pens)

I'm going to pick 2 winners using a random generator who will each receive an original watercolour painting of mine, each one is painted on 300gsm watercolour paper.

Here they are:

The Big Red Cat, 11 x 9 inches (29 x 22cm)

Paisley Girl, 9 x 12 inches (23 x 30cm)

All you need to do to take part is to leave me a message in the comments on this post telling me which of these paintings you'd like to win. If you'd like a second chance to be in the draw, you could go to this post on my Facebook page and (if you're on Facebook) share and like the post, then leave me a comment there to say which painting you'd like.

EASY PEASY! :)

So tell me,
which one would you like? :)

Did you notice the primroses at the top of this post? I was sat in the garden this morning looking around at all the new growth. Isn't this time of year lovely?

The Corkscrew Hazel looks pretty with its yellow catkins doesn't it?

And these sweet little daffodils. They always surprise me where they pop up!

This pot has hidden surprises too. I tend to forget what I've planted from season to season  so it's constantly changing throughout the year. One of these days I'm going to paint them from life but for now, here's a sketchbook page with flowers from my imagination. :)

Oh, and of course a bird!

Thank you for visiting! xx

Bonjour,

Spring is already in your heart! What a delight for the eyes are these first flowers that have popped up here and there -just like the colours of your paintings! I like the Pot Full of Surprises!:)
Congratulations! Isn't it amazing and thrilling to know that so many people like you and your blog? If I have the luck to be chosen, I would love to have the Cat painting!:)
Have a lovely March, Jessie!
Good luck with the giveaway. Congratulations on eight hundred followers on facebook.

Thank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
ohhh Big Red Cat or Paisley Girl....they are both wonderful...but considering I am partial to cats....and red cats at that and that I want to further my collection:)then I'd have to pick the Red Cat.

Oh my goodness I sore the cat painting and would love to have it hanging on my wall! So lovely to see the jewel like spring flowers in bloom after all the awful wet winter weather.

Congrats on the arrival of your grandson! He looks so cute. Isn't it amazing how those babies decide themselves when they want to come :-)
Love both of your paintings, but the big red cat is my absolute favorite!
