Back on the Horse

A massive thankyou to you Blogfriends who have helped me get 'back on my horse'. I was really self conscious about posting the next drawing after my last post, (sorry to be so down) so I'm fiddling about in my sketchbook and I'm throwing them out here before I can think about it! I even hope to post an Illustration Friday for this week soon too, so thankyou for being soooo supportive.xx :))

Your watercolours are so lovely! I like the three little sheds the most... Don't take criticism too badly (I know how bad it can make me feel and don't want anyone else to feel that way either!!). Your work is beautiful and it is YOURS; nobody else could have done it.

Hi Jessie, I don't know how but I missed your last post and didn't realise you were down til this one. I read it this morning and have been thinking about you all afternoon while I have been running around after the kids and trying to do some painting. I guess we will all get criticism if we put ourselves out there but I know I would feel the same if I was in your position. The differnce is you have the confidence that I don't yet. I love your style I think it is very unique and it is you. I hope you never feel like you have to change that. You have been one of my longest blog friends and it is coming up to a year since I started blogging. I was so nervous about putting my work on my blog and how people would see it but I've found so many lovely people like yourself who have encouraged me so much that I find myself trying new things all the time. I've still not quite got the confidence to put myself out there seriously yet but i hope I'm getting there. Hang in there, you may have had some negative feedback but I think that would be completely outweighed by all the people that adore your work.
xxxxx
